Harvest Mental Health Counseling, PLLC

I provide mental health counseling, specifically for new parents and moms, with the overall goal of fostering healthier emotional health, navigate trauma and loss, and to discover their new identity postpartum to be the best version of themselves. My experiences with mental health include personal - an eldest daughter of divorced parents, anxiety, birth trauma, and NICU parent, in addition to clinical - over a decade working as a mental health counselor and managing mental health clinics in the Greater Chicago area and Western New York. I offer a balanced approach with different perspectives and techniques to leave sessions actively thinking about and practicing to make sustainable changes. I'm trained in EMDR which reprocesses trauma and certified in Perinatal Mental Health by Postpartum Support International. My goal is create a safe environment for us to work together to explore where you’re feeling stuck, recognize your strengths, identify what behaviors or thoughts are no longer useful to you, and develop skills to better manage your emotions and stressors.
